Description


On June 18, 2014 OCPO hosted a panel discussion on Government Accountability Office (GAO) Protests. Esteemed panel members included Daniel I. Gordon, the former Administrator for Federal Procurement Policy at the Office of Federal Procurement Policy (OFPP), from 2009 to 2012; Ralph White, Managing Associate General Counsel for Procurement Law within the Office of the General Counsel at the GAO; and Marcia G. Madsen, Partner with Mayer Brown. The panelists discussed many aspects of GAO protests, including ways in which contracting officers may strengthen solicitations and source selection decisions to reduce the potential for sustained protests.
